'Happy Birthday' Card

Whenever I'm in a crafting rut, I find that using a kit as a starting point is a great way to kick start creativity, as it takes some of the pressure off when you know that all the contents have been designed to go together! I used one of Stampin' Up's fantastic project kits, and pulled in one or two other bits from my stash to create this birthday card.

To make the card I used the Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp SetSoft Sayings Card Kit, Hearts and Stars Elements and a Basic Gray Archival Ink Pad.

The Soft Sayings Card Kit would make a fabulous Christmas present for anyone wanting to get started in papercrafting. It contains everything you need to make 20 gorgeous cards (or if you want to get more creative you can mix and match like I did), all you need to add is adhesive.

Jem's Blog Hop: Hearts Layout

Welcome to the Jem's Blog Hop! I thought this month's theme might be a bit of a challenge for me, I don't really use hearts that often, but I must have had it in the back of my mind because it wasn't until I finished this layout that I realised it was perfect for today's hop! A subtle use of a few hearts, taken from the Celebrate Every Day Project Life Accessory Pack. This layout is just 6x8, to fit in my Project Life album.

Thanks for joining in with the blog hop today!

Jems Blog Hop: Project Life

It's that time of the month again! Welcome to my stop on the Jem's Blog Hop :)
I fell in love with the new Spring/Summer catalogue as soon as I saw it, my must have list is ridiculously long! One of the first things that leapt out of the catalogue at me was the new Celebrate Everyday Project Life collection. I'm determined to document this year, so I've made a start by creating my title page for my 2017 Project Life album. I hope you like it!
